Initial Contact
Reach out to us via phone, email, or our online contact form. Our friendly team will guide you through the process and answer any initial questions. To book your first appointment, you’ll complete intake forms to help us understand your needs.
Step 02
Intake and Assessment
For most clients we conduct a pre-assessment consultation via telehealth (phone or video) to enable us to fully understand each client’s needs and ensure that the assessment consultation runs smoothly. During the initial face to face session, our Speech Pathologist will conduct a detailed assessment to identify challenges and set clear therapy goals. For some clients we may also offer screening assessment services or other service options to help keep costs down and fast track access to therapy as quickly as possible.

Goal-Setting and Planning
We work collaboratively with you and your family to establish meaningful goals and develop a personalised therapy plan that fits into your routines.

Therapy Sessions
Therapy sessions are engaging, evidence-based, and tailored to individual needs. Depending on the goals, sessions may focus on speech clarity, language development, social skills, or feeding support.

In fact, we have a unique service we call TeleTAG Flex that means you can access support from qualified speech pathologists without having to wrangle appointment times - you can send written questions, videos and audio files at any time and then we will send back individually tailored activities, instructional videos and more to support you. It’s perfect for busy families juggling multiple or complex care needs.
How often will therapy sessions be required?
The frequency of sessions depends on individual needs and goals. During your initial assessment, we’ll recommend a schedule that works best for you.
Is TAG an NDIS provider?
Yes, TAG is a registered NDIS provider. We work closely with NDIS participants to deliver person-centered therapy services that align with their plans and goals. We also provide services under a variety of other funding models and if you don’t have external funding we have service options available for you too.
What if I’m not sure whether my child needs Speech Pathology?
