Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy Services

At Therapy Alliance Group (TAG), we offer exceptional, family-focused, and holistic Occupational Therapy services designed to support individuals in achieving success with everyday tasks. Occupational Therapists can support individuals to develop or regain skills for everyday tasks such as dressing, cooking, cleaning, managing personal care, socialising, supporting emotional regulation and identifying sensory needs. Occupational Therapists at TAG provide individualised intervention focusing on making these tasks easier and more accessible, allowing individuals to experience greater independence and confidence. Services may include home modifications, equipment prescription, skill development (emotional regulation, motor skills, play/social skills, job readiness, cognitive skills), advocating and navigating for NDIS funding, parent/carer training and community participation and engagement.

What to Expect with TAG

Engaging with Therapy Alliance Group is a seamless, supportive process:

Step 01

Initial Contact

Reach out to us via phone, email, or our online contact form. Our friendly team will guide you through the process and answer any initial questions. To book your first appointment, you’ll complete intake forms to help us understand your needs.

Step 01

Step 02

Intake and Assessment

For most clients we conduct a pre-assessment consultation via telehealth (phone or video) to enable us to fully understand each client’s needs and ensure that the assessment consultation runs smoothly. During the initial face-to-face session, our Occupational Therapist will conduct a detailed assessment to identify challenges and set clear therapy goals. Assessments can be delivered both in the clinic and home environment depending on the individual’s needs, as some clients may seek assessment of their home environment for modifications or prescription of equipment.  For some clients we may also offer screening assessment services or other service options to help keep costs down and fast track access to therapy as quickly as possible.
