About Us
Our History
At Therapy Alliance Group (TAG) it’s normally all about you. We think you are much more interesting than us but sometimes people want to know more about us, so here’s a bit of our origin story.
TAG was originally founded as a Speech Pathology service known as “Chatterbugs” by Rachel Tosh (CPSP) in Brisbane way back in 2004. The clinic temporarily closed while Rachel focused on her family.
Chatterbugs then re-opened in Toowoomba in 2012 and experienced rapid growth based on a reputation for exceptional care and clinical expertise.
After working with many families in the local community, we found families were often struggling to access the various therapy services they needed. Parents were running all over town to different services and appointments and care was not always holistic or collaborative. The vision for Therapy Alliance Group, a “one-stop therapy shop” for families, started to take shape and soon after that we launched our Occupational Therapy services. We quickly added physiotherapy as well. Then, as our team continued to expand so too did our team’s specific skills in the area of adult disability, swallowing, equipment prescription, medicolegal reports, home modifications and more so we now provide therapy services for anyone who needs us regardless of age or diagnosis.

We have now grown into 5 locations: Aspley, Beenleigh, Mansfield, Morayfield and Toowoomba. Despite our growth we have stayed true to our family owned and locally operated business roots. Our vision is to help each individual to fulfill their own unique potential. We do this through caring, effective and collaborative therapy services and strive to create a better future for everyone who reaches out to us for help.

Our Contributions
We love helping not only our clients but also the wider community. Here are just some of the programs and organisations that we have made donations of our time or money to:

We encourage our team to get involved in charity efforts that are meaningful to them and have matched dollar for dollar what our team members have contributed in donations for various charities. We don’t fundraise on behalf of clients or their families to prevent any potential conflict of interest and to protect our therapeutic relationships.
In addition to our charity work we have also donated hundreds of hours of time in advocacy and community education work including providing evidence to Parliamentary Committees, submissions regarding NDIS and therapy services and many, many more activities to try and build a better world for people with developmental delays and disabilities.
